Redondear fracciones hacia arriba
Para hacer redondeos hacia arriba sobre números con decimales podemos utilizar la función ceil() de PHP.
float ceil(float $value)
La función recibe el número con decimales y retorna el número recibido redondeado al siguiente entero más alto, por ejemplo:
<?php echo ceil(4.3); // 5 echo ceil(9.999); // 10 echo ceil(-3.14); // -3 ?>
